Every puzzle piece is unique, different, and a small but very important part of a larger whole, and I'd like to be a puzzle piece on someone's team.
I'd like a job that I'm good at, hopefully in or around the Cypress, or Northwest Houston, TX Area.
I'm an artist, game designer, whoever with a Bachelor's degree in Media Arts and Animation, in need of professional experience.
My education and computer history
What I can do for you:
1. I've been practicing Adobe Illustrator, After Effects, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and Blender for over 3 years. I've used Microsoft Word, Excel, and the GIMP over many more years.
2. I can draw well what I can see, do creature character design, or make some abstact drawings.
3. I drew and colored character drawings of many cat characters that could be used for a tv show or RPG.
4. I can sort stuff and record what you have. I have experience doing that for Greater Houston Business Services.
5. I'm experienced in using camcorders on a tripod and moving video cameras with a joystick.
6. I have a logical, problem solving, and creative thinking type brain which may be good for something.
7. I know punctuation and can write well in English.
8. If you would like to produce my card game or just make cards for it, my dream is that my game would consist of cards from a lot of different franchises with athletic (or would be athletic) characters, as well as sports photographs and inanimate objects. I want a little compensation for it, maybe something like 5% profit. I'm not interested in making it more all by myself, but if someone would pay me to cut the strips (if you don't have it done by machine) and help people decide what kind of card each should be, that would be fine with me. The original cards are kind of like guidelines to determine which kind of card each should be. Go to captivanumbers.com for more information about the game and contact me if you are interested.
9. I have board game ideas that are complex enough to give you something to think about when you play, but are mixed with chance.
10. I can sing, free-style dance, and do martial arts if you have any use for that.
11. I have some video editing, animating, and graphic design experience.
I hope someone can make use of the detailed and yet spontaneous person that I am.
My Preferences of what I like to do
Illustrator, pixel art (NESst, MS Paint), After Effects >animating 3d inanimate objects, Blender shape keys >Gimp, Photoshop >rle Compression, hex coding graphics >Adobe Premiere Pro
CorelDRAW 2021 vs. Illustrator
CorelDRAW is a quicker program for making separate duplicate pages of the same size in the same file; you can also change those page sizes.
Illustrator is better for having different sized pages in the same file and looking at them side by side.
With the pencil tool in Illustrator you can redraw the end of lines or middle if you mess up, so I can draw faster without concern of wasting time for messing up. Now I've tried all the drawing tools, and I don't think you can do that in CorelDRAW. I learned how to do some things in Illustrator, that I first learned in CorelDRAW.
Rigging
I can put bones in and skin, but it's hard to remember all the options you have and how to do it all. I think I'm ok in Maya with set driven keys and creating attributes somewhat, but it's a lot easier to just put keys on bones. I think I would rather have Blender but don't know IK stuff that well.
I've rigged a horse in Maya, a horse in 3ds Max, a cat in Blender, and some other stuff, but I'm not that interested in rigging for IK.
I don't want to be on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pintrest, or YouTube. However, I don't mind if my work for a job ends up there without me putting it on myself (if that's what the employer wants).
